I am delighted to launch the Daventry Constituency Small Business Award. This award celebrates the small businesses that play such an important role in our community, and they are a chance for us all to show our support for the entrepreneurs who work hard every day to keep our local economy thriving.
The awards open today, and nominations will close on 5 December. This leads into Small Business Saturday, when I will announce the overall winner.
Taking part could not be easier. I am inviting you to nominate your favourite small business. This may be an independent shop on the high street, a business run from home, a market stallholder, a mobile service provider or any other small enterprise that contributes to the life of our constituency. Every nomination helps highlight the dedication, creativity and commitment of the small business owners who make the Daventry Constituency such a vibrant place to live and work.
