There is some welcome news for passengers using Long Buckby station, following concerns about the confusing parking arrangements at the site.
After repeatedly raising the issue, I am pleased that West Midlands Trains has now confirmed that the Saba-operated parking spaces will soon be re-lined in green, with clearer signage and messaging also due to be introduced.
This may seem like a small change, but it is an important one. A number of local residents and station users had raised concerns about the current layout, which has caused confusion for drivers who were simply trying to pay for parking correctly and avoid being caught out unfairly.
Clearer markings and better information should make a real difference for people using the station day to day.
