Yesterday at Hospice UK’s Parliamentary drop-in, I heard again just how much pressure hospices are under.
Having worked closely with the sector for many years, I know how much hospices do for patients and families at the most difficult times of their lives and how hard many are now struggling.
The fact that even the map on display was already out of date by the event shows how fast the pressure is growing.
Hospices need proper support.
