One of my key interests in Parliament is planning and I frequently raise local issues during Parliamentary Questions.  Protecting green spaces and ensuring that developing brownfield sites is given priority is one of my principal goals as a politician and I would like to assure all my constituents that I am continuing to follow this issue closely as I know how important it is to our area.  I recently arranged for Planning Minister Nick Boles MP to visit my constituency to see firsthand the impact that developments are having on the area and I was pleased that local residents groups were able to meet with him then to put across their concerns.
